Do, re, mi , fa, so , la , ti ,do........

To make the panpipes:
1. Cut eight straws or eight pieces of plastic tubing to different lengths. Tape them together, arranging from short to long.

2. To play the panpipes blow gently across the top of each pipe to produce a note. You will find that longer pupes make a lower note than shorter pipes.

Conductor test 20 October 2010

4pm Our very first simple electric circuits

They are curious how the electircity supply to our house. Chloe was pointing the distribution transformer outside our house while Jonathan was listening. (All experiments tools and accessories bought from electric shop, including the battery cost around RM22.00)

Sure, I'm not expert not even understand while I'm studying science in secondary school. I have a good book to refer where I lend it from library. Book title - "Living science" over 50 experiments which are quite easy to do.

Switch on and off

Both of them switch on and off, again and again.

Battery as electric supply, On off switch as switches on the wall, Light bulb as our lightning at home. Hehe....they understand the whole concept.

Conductor test

They took around 20 minutes on testing! I do even add in some electric shock issue.

Jonathan trying on straw and "No, it is not conductor". Chloe even trying on my shoes before moving trying on my bag. Suddendly, she said "Yes, It's conductor!" on the zipper. From there, she could understand that conductor is anything that the electric can flow through.

She do even try on her pencil box and notice that the metal holder is conductor.

Static Electricity 20 October 2010

3.30pm Inside the car and on the way back home.

Jonathan was complaining he was not happy at the speech and drama class. Sure, I follow by "Why?". He started mentioned that he need to finished his homework while Chloe was playing on something since she don't have homework.

Then, I suggust that how about playing after your bath on something special about electicity. He is now seem a bit bright from his face and agreed.

In the meanwhile Chloe start an experiment from her mind and told me the following:

"Mommy, I will need a balloon, a cloth, few paper peoples and a plastic bag." She start explaining, how the experiment carry on and what will happened. Wow....that surprise me again. That time, I don't know about "Static electricity" until at night our experiments carry out. Daddy told me "It is about static electricity!"

How she know about this? From learning channel (Astro) that she watch long time ago. Normally, we don't have time to watch Tv especially on weekdays. Sometime, if we are really free on weekend then they will watch for an hour on the learning channel.

Kota Duyong 14 October 2010

Once we reached here, I'm asking Chloe "Do you want to visit "Rumah Papan" ? I'm quite reluctant to get off the car since it was hot everywhere. And It was just a normal rumah papan nothing new.




The entrance of Kota Duyong and daddy entered in to the lobby.


We saw the rumah papan structure and Both of them were rush to go upstairs.



Both of them enjoy the rocking chair.

Bedroom...nobody wish to enter that room and chloe start whispering...is anybody sleeping on the bed? hahaha........It was dark! They noticed that there were no electricity and fan in the rumah papan.

The most interesting part...was in the kitchen. A lots of kitchen equipment were there!

They do even try it and start query about my rumah papan at Penang. Promise to bring them hike the hill and visit rumah papan at Teluk Bahang, Penang on comming Chinese New Year.

Awana Kijal beach 14&15 Oct 2010

Awana Kijal Golf, Beach & Spa Resort

This is sure the best beach I had visited. It was clean and clear beach. The beach was clear with crabs holes and just cover with white sand. Once we stepped in the beach, there was dry sand and not wet. Children able to play immediately once they stepped on the beach. Not like some others beach, some of them we might need to walk a distance before reaching white sand.

We must come back next time since the room were not really expensive that others. It was only cost RM169/night (Booking online).

Nobody notice what he was doing, three of us were talking to each other. Suddendly, he show me this and start explaining while we waiting for our puzza hut lunch serve. Daddy don't know what was happened, it was because daddy was not inside the museum, he was working while we were visiting the museum.

Ya, We saw this malay tomb inside the Museum. They are curious, that why I'm explaning to them on the Malay tradition when someone pass away.

Children learn from anywhere and everywhere.......

Turtles in action 15 Oct 2010

Chloe was having sand play on the beach. Suddenly, she lie down on the beach and imagine she is the turtle who is digging hole to lay eggs. I didn't yell this time and I'm just keep quiet! Haha..........Finally, I'm in control.

Kite decoration 15 Oct 2010

Charges for Kite decoration is RM5/kite. Both of them insist to do it after the swimming and water play in the morning. Marker pens were used in this activities.

Chloe was drawing picture of Hans swimming to Terengganu to meet her. She sure miss Hans coz didn't call baby for few days.

Nothing come to his mind, only "Ironman" is his favourite. Surprisingly, he draw his "Ironman" on his own...the whole kite picture was drawing by Jonathan.


He was enjoying colouring and drawing. Mommy was assisting him to colour the orange part since he start yelling the marker pen was out of ink.

Non of this flurrly toys in my house since myself allergy. That why, Jonathan was so satisfy hugging those "Furry" animal bears......

Wedding Dinner with Dato' Yeoh 15th October 2010

Friday Nite, 7pm

Tonight, we are going to attend a wedding dinner. Hehe.....before the wedding dinner, I'm keep repeating to them, please behave well! Please............Coz we were sitting same table with all the "bosses" including Big Boss Dato' Yeoh Soo Keng from YTL Group!

It was a special wedding nite with the melody of harmonicas. For the first time in my life, as well as both of them listen the great melody out of harmonicas. Many Many types of harmonicas caught Chloe and Jonathan attention.

Before the wedding dinner, Chloe was asking me a lots of questions about married including the "few why, who, where, when...." Wow.....I could never imagine that she have been thinking about this questions!

My girl started questioning me:

Can I get married with Jonathan? I LOVE HIM! My answered,"Cannot, he is your brother!"

Then "Can I get married with Hans?" I LOVE HIM! I'm answered, "Cannot again!" Then I rethink again, "can or cannot ar?" Hahaha...........Please help me out here! Why I have to answered this question to who only reached 6 years old girl end of this month!

Wedding car and Jonathan was complaining he didn't have his "tuxedo". He wish to be the prince! Haha.....My pretty princess, little Chloe! Ok, I will buy him a set of tuxedo to wear on the Chinese New Year! Hahaha....I can imagine that he will take it off after few minutes. It's so hot!

Both of them were so happy with all peanuts and cool drinks!

Souvenir from the wedding couple...."Mini harmonica". Chloe enjoy of blowing it the whole night.

We check in on the Sri Permai Hotel at Kuala Terennganu and we saw this Crystal Mosque model on the lobby near the registration counter. Three of us were attracted by the design of the mosque.

6 in 1 Education Solar Robot Kits 2nd Oct 2010

RM19.90/set + RM2.50 courier charges

This is the first set of solar robot kits that I will introduce to my children on their birthday. My present for them. Hahah....It seem that this month, I already bought 3 sets of presents for them.

Jonathan was curious why the robot kits haven't reached our home since I'm order few weeks ago. I'm telling him, we need to wait for the deliver far from China which will arrive on your birthday. He continue "Where is China? Is China far far away from here?"......:)
