Today was a very special day. We were joining jungle classroom for the first time and daddy with us. Thank you daddy showing us the newspaper cutting from The Star. Chloe and Jonathan never in the forest or jungle before. For the first time in their life, they stepped in the forest. They only know that animals and witch living in the jungle. hahaha..........

A group consists of 39 children and a lot of parents. Ms Suzane divided us into 2 groups since they were so many peoples. The first group will go into the jungle first and the second group will finished the paper making art and craft first before going in the jungle.
Part 1 Paper making using recycle newspaper

Tear newspaper into pieces and put it into a bucket of water for a day. Then, put it into blender and blended it into a paper pulp.

Part 2 Get to know some plants and insects in the forest

Giant forest ant that mommy catch and we share with everybody

We saw cocoa tree, peeling tree and some mushroom on the way into the forest!

Part 3 Stepping in the tropical forest, tough for us as well as children

My godness, the path was so slippery, a father in front of us felt down twice. Jonathan was holding tight on daddy hand while my daughter enjoyed walking alone. Before going in the jungle, we saw some group having treasure hunt activities were going on.

While walking in the slippery path, Jonathan started refusing to continue the journey since he had been attempt to fall down many many times if not holding daddy hand. The crocs shoes was so slippery. Don't think will wear it in to the junle next time. We continue cheer him up and he was able to do it! Hooray for Jonathan!
Part 4 Playing in the creek (fun and time to get wet)

Finally, we felt such a relief after we went through all the slippery path. We finally reached the creek. Now, we were enjoying the cool water. We were able to see water spider, worm, small fishes, prawns, water bugs and a lots more.....Daddy, you were good at catching fishes and especially prawns....Bravo!
Part 5 On the way back to NEC (Nature Education Center)

It was felt good to see and felt the warm sun again after a half day in the forest. We were all exhausted!

Jonathan told me: Mommy, Next time, we will go again!
