Genting Highland Strawberry Farm on 13 June 2010

Today, we purposely went up the hill to experience self pick at Genting Highland Strawberry Farm. Both of them get really excited since we missed it on 1st may trip. Once the entrance door open, we were already there.

These were the strawberry that we had pick! Red and juicy!

Once we went inside and get our scissors with bucket. Jonathan start collecting his strawberry using his scissor without thinking. In the meanwhile, Chloe was looking for the bigger strawberry.

For the first time, we pick our own strawberry since we had missed last time we went to Cameron Highland.

We had finally end up picking around 300gm strawberry which cost us RM24.00. RM8/100gm. So expensive.

After that, we had visit the vegetables farm. We view some booth on the way went out. We saw an iguana sleeping without noticing there were snakes besides the iguana. We had a rest while Chloe and Jonathan experiencing their local made strawberry ice cream.

Vegetables farm and a lots of tomotos......

Brocolli and "timun"..

We noticed a snail on the leaf and for the first time, they saw a walking snail. Normally, once the snail saw both of them, it head already in. Hahahaha...........How about this one? Too far to reach the snail.

Tasty ice cream......strawberry

Pretty flower....rose

In the same time, time for iguana and the snakes to wake up to work. They need to pose for public to take photos. RM15/photos. Chloe and Jonathan take some time to have a close look on animals. They dare to touch the animals.

Honey Bee section, Jonathan asking me "Will the bees sting?" Then, I try to recall his memory about a mother with three children went up for a walk and sting by the tiger bees. He remember that story since we had been reading newpapers about the current issues.

From here, mommy got some info on how to differentiate on pure honey and wild honey smell.
Is the honey fake if the honey attract ants?

Then follow by flowers farm and end with mushroom farm. They just keep quite on this section. Does that mean not interesting? Haha.....they don't like to eat mushroom indeed.

Ling zhi.....

Mommy, I noticed there were words on the peas?Jonathan found one with "l love you" .
They saw cats on the table, they were from tree.

After we went out from strawberry park and heading to the cable car station. After experiencing coming to Genting on public holiday. Now, first try on the school holiday. Crazy! We were waiting for the cable car with long long Q. Waiting time for us were 1 hour!

Advice.........never go to genting on public and school holiday!
